Oct 6: The bridge-building crew on the first run over the new structure.
Welcome! This is a privately owned dual gauge railway with 7.25" and
5" gauge trackage. We like to think of it as a 2.5" scale dual gauge layout, although
any compatible equipment is welcome to visit. The Winter Creek is situated in New
Zealand on Aucklands' North Shore, (See Contact Us
for a world map).
We operate an informal club that meets every Wednesday night to work on the
railway and/or members projects - we can all learn something this way - as well
as have a cuppa and a chat.
Saturdays usually find something happening in the shed or out on the line.

Heres a map of the property showing what we are up to (Not to scale). A run from
the Shed down to the bottom and back will be over 1km (0.6 mile). The plan doesnt
show it, but becuase it is downgrade most of the way. Where the tracks come
close together they are separated by several metres of height.
